Short Haired
The Short-Haired cat breed has a short and dense coat. The fur is more fine and the same length all over the body. Short-Haired cats are greatly varied as shown in many cat pictures. The majority of cat breeds are short-haired ones.
Their are many different kinds of domestic short-haired cats that are characterised by a wide range of coloring and body type. The domestic cat breeds from other countries tend to have a different body type than others since they do originate from different gene pools. Short Haired Cat breeds fall into two major groups, one being the American Cat Breeds and the other being the Oriental Cat Breeds.

Short Haired Cats are the most popular cat breed in the United States. The Short-Haired cat accounts for up to 93 percent of all domestic cats.
